The project is a collaborative experimental development whose title is "Design and Development of Communications System for Efficient Management of golf courses" (T-GOLF).
The proposed project pursues the design and implementation of a management system, applicable to the practice of Golf and whose design is based on a holistic methodology, trying to give an integral vision in order to be able to offer a optimal system from the point of view of cost, energy consumption, scalability and quality of service of the established communication links. Tafco Metawireless has extensive experience both in the field of electromagnetic simulation of complex environments, such as in the development of software solutions. On the other hand, the multidisciplinary team of the UPNA (Department of Engineering Electrical and Electronic and the Department of Mathematical and Computer Engineering) has experience in planning and optimization of communications systems wireless, such as in the development of electronic communications transceivers low consumption and in the development of communication protocols used in systems mobile phones and wireless sensor networks. In the development of the system, therefore, contemplate natural synergies, given that in order to be able to adopt the global approach to project, all members contribute to achieving this comprehensive vision.
