On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, part of the research team from the companies URZANTE and HARIVENASA visited the new facilities that TAFCO Metawireless has set up in the Zadeka warehouse, in the Noáin industrial park, for the development of the project “GREENPATH – Circular Production of Green Energy from Agri-food By-products through High-Temperature Processes.”
During the visit, the TAFCO team explained the prototype microwave-assisted pyrolysis reactor and the progress achieved in recent months within the framework of the GREENPATH project for the energy valorization of several by-products from these companies: oat hulls in the case of Harivenasa, and olive pomace and bleaching earth in the case of Urzante.
The GREENPATH project is funded by the Government of Navarre under the “Aid for Strategic R&D Projects 2025-2028” call for proposals, with 40% co-financing provided by the European Regional Development Fund through the ERDF Operational Programme 2021-2027 of Navarre. In addition to TAFCO, URZANTE, and HARIVENASA, the project consortium includes the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), CENER, SUSTAINN, GREENDUR, and NAGRIFOOD.
